There is this old legend that if something got named after Georg Stellar the german botanist who was with Vitus Bering on the ill fated Kamchatka expeditions then it’s slated for extinction. Not so this dynamite silver glowing shrub. Probably one of the best moon garden plants ever, the fuzzy silver leaves will positively glow in the moonlight and add that wonderful silver-grey offset that looks so good with purple leaved or dark green plants in the background. The dusty-yellow flowers might not be much to look at but for the foliage this plant is choice.
