Asperula sp.
An as yet unidentified Asperula from the late Kathy Allens magnificent southern Oregon Garden, this one has light pink/white flowers and a perfect cushion forming habit. Any taxonomists out there? I did talk to some of the experts at Denver and while I can’t say with 100% confidence quite yet, this may be Asperula pontica.
It is a fantastic cushion/mat forming species for the rock garden, looking absolutely dynamite in the sand beds this year.
Excellent rock garden, trough, or crevice garden specimen
