A wonderful California bay area native, The tiburon mariposa is threatened due to habitat loss and development. This species has the most intricate yellow, brown and green markings, very showy in bloom. I have found this one likes to be kept on the cooler side through the summer, since it does hail from the coastal California fogbelts.
