A petite, cushion-forming alpine perennial native to high mountain regions of Europe, Draba subacaulis produces dense mats of small, felty, gray-green leaves topped with clusters of bright yellow flowers in early spring. Its compact growth habit makes it perfect for rock gardens, crevices, and alpine troughs.
