Edraianthus dinaricus

$22.00

I haven’t grown them all, but of the lot of Edraianthus I have grown this is the king or Queen of the genus in my opinion. Above a tight and solid 1’ by 1’ dome of silver leaves come stemless blue/purple trumpets that eventually smother the entire dome, making a show like no other. This is a tough species as well, showing no dieback or brown spots even after tough cold and drippy wet winters.

I got this from Southern Oregon’s legendary rock gardener and grower Kathy Allen, and while I don’t know the provenance Kathy grows from seed and this super choice plant was no doubt collected on some wild mountain peak.
