Erigeron linearis 'Rimrock'

$10.00
sold out

Erigeron linearis (Narrowleaf Daisy or Desert Yellow Fleabane) is a compact, drought-tolerant perennial native to the dry, open slopes and rocky outcrops of the western United States, particularly in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and parts of California. It forms low-growing clumps of narrow, linear leaves and produces cheerful yellow daisy-like flowers in late spring to early summer. Exceptionally hardy, Erigeron linearis thrives in USDA zones 4–8 and prefers well-drained soils in full sun. Ideal for rock gardens, dry borders, or native plant landscapes, it is highly resistant to deer and requires minimal watering once established. This species is well-suited to xeriscaping and supports pollinators such as native bees and butterflies.

This selection came from the late Kathy Allen’s garden in Southern Oregon, Kathy was an indomitable seed grower and I am very lucky to be able to be carrying on the legacy that she left along with Baldassare and Boyd and Lawrence and the other amazing Southern Oregon growers.
