This form was grown from a seed collection on Vancouver Island, one of my most favorite places in the world and truth be told if I could immigrate there I would in a heartbeat. I would probably go as far north as I could, like Port Hardy and live on a little fishing boat, taking my sweet time to explore the many fjords and sounds for which the island is famous. This clone always produces these rippled margins on the tepals and I sometimes call them dragon teeth or gater toofs. For well drained soil with just the slightest hint of moisture through the summer.
