This unique checker lily, has some great tessellation, the flowers start blooming at ground level but it eventually matures its seed pods at 1’ or so in height. Native to rocky areas in the Mountains of Iran and Azerbaijan, it’s very hardy given a well drained soil and a dry summer rest period.
