Iris 'Blue Eyed Girl'
A spectacular dwarf bearded iris topping out at 15” tall. These are tough, low water use plants that should be in every garden! Like most bearded irises, it thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, preferring a dry summer rest once established. Plant rhizomes with their tops exposed to the sun, and divide every three to five years to maintain vigor and abundant flowering. Exceptionally drought tolerant after establishment, it is equally at home in cottage gardens, Mediterranean-style plantings, and water-wise landscapes.
Bloom Time: Late spring
Hardiness: USDA Zones 3–9
Culture: Full sun; well-drained soil; low summer water once established.
