$12.00
sold out

A charming very dwarf bearded iris native to Central and Eastern Europe, Iris pumila 'Clausii' forms compact clumps of sword-like foliage and produces vibrant violet-blue flowers in early spring, the grey beard hairs are quite showy. Ideal for rock gardens, borders, and alpine settings, it thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. Drought-tolerant once established, this low-maintenance perennial is absolutely the best for the crevice garden, trough or container as it’s diminutive size is best appreciated up close.

Iris are great for the season between the early rock garden show and the perennials and annuals of summer, fill the gaps!
