This is an exceptionally nice purple flowered form of I. reichenbachii, that was growing by the front steps of the Rae Selling Berry Botanic Garden for years. Mr’s Berry was a well known seed grower so this no doubt came from a good source. This dwarf iris tops out at about 8-10” tall and is absolutely loaded with flowers in late spring. Balkans.
