Lewisia "Elise Ruby Red'

$9.00
sold out

The Elise strain of Lewisia is special for its exceptional flower color, form, and floriferousness. Developed as a selection from Lewisia cotyledon, it stands out due to its display of intense colors like rich pinks, corals, apricots, and bicolors with striking veining or contrasting centers. Known for producing an abundance of flowers over a long season, especially in spring and early summer. The rosettes are symmetrical and neat, making them excellent for containers, troughs, and rock gardens. It’s particularly prized by alpine and rock garden enthusiasts for combining ornamental appeal with reliable performance.

I love me some grapefruit, a half on the a plate with a little brown sugar, black coffee and a hard boiled egg? Or a Cazuela as the drink is called at our local mexican food place that does the best homemade tortillas around. Chunks of fruit, a nice tequila blanca and a splash of grapefruit soda. Or a paloma on a hot day, the grapefruit is a good one and the ruby red the best.

Hardy to USDA zones 3–8.
