Natural hybrids of two fantastic rock garden species from our own Western Cascade mountains. A tough and adaptable plant for rockery or crevice garden, the prostrate mats of foliage from the rupicola side of the family give way to large purple beardtongue flowers like cardwellii.
Growing in basalt screes, on West facing slopes at around 3,500’ in elevation.
